Much Better! Aug 17, 2008
By PCGamer Much better option for quickly setting up a court than the cones that currently come with the raquet sets. The cones allow for a bit more flexibility with court paramaters but I always thought the whole purpose of having boundaries was so you could play a regulation game.

High quality and versatile boundry lines Mar 10, 2010
By A. Skinner Easy to set up. Clearly defined boundary lines are a must for a game like this, unless you're playing super casual and not really paying attention to score. The sandbags have a decent but not overbearing heft to them; I've mainly used this court on grass with stakes (purchase separately). Even though the sandbags will mostly keep the lines in place, there's a chance the court could get deformed if you kick a line while going after the speeder, so stake it if you can.
The lines are good quality, but given their ropey nature will tangle if not properly tied. I use a figure-8 knot after folding a few times and attaching the clips to a sandbag. This keeps them mostly separate from one another and untangled.
The court takes maybe 5m to set up: stake a sandbag, run the line to a new location, stake a sandbag and attach the line, run the new unattached line (from the new sandbag) to the next corner, and repeat once more. Tighten as necessary by moving stakes.
I consider this court a must-have when playing Speedminton. The court is consistent in size, clearly defined, and keeps it's shape. The sandbags allow you to use the court on concrete, where stakes wouldn't play and you'd be forced to play with cones, which are not clearly defined. While I haven't done this yet, I imagine that you could set this up on a side-street in your neighborhood and the court would survive a few cars driving over it no problem.

"CO man"
Although I personally have not used the speedminton set, my family found it great fun and have not had any quality issues yet.
